YourSELF Projects - Taking SELF Home
During SELF Camp, participants will consider what they've learned during the week, which activities and sessions have impacted them, and how their perspectives about health and fitness have changed. Campers are encouraged to not just share the vision and mission of SELF Camp; they will take time during camp to design their own plan or project to maintain the skills they've learned and/or spread the values and knowledge emphasized at camp. YourSELF projects may be as simple as creating a regular diet and exercise regiment or as ambitious as organizing a community girls soccer team or a girls leadership club at school. By the end SELF Camp, our girls will be inspired to lead in their own lives and communities. |
